My 1972 Pontiac Lemans Sport convertible was damaged a couple of months ago when a high speed wind storm collapsed the garage on the car. I have owed the car for 25 years and was fully restored. The garage crushed the windshield frame down several inches on both sides bending the header in one area near the right side roof latch point. The good news is that the top was down so it was undamaged. My question is can these frames be straightened or would another donor frame need to be found and re-welded to the car? I know this is a critical part of the vehicle body so it will not be an easy fix, but after 25 years I have to make the attempt.

67 Chevelle chassis swap

Does anyone have information concerning putting a 67 HT Chevelle body on a 1964 El Camino chassis. I would like to mate the two but have concerns over the body mount alignment and I understand the rear frame must be grafted as well. Any information would be helpful.

Guidelines for Participation

<font face="Verdana"><font color="navy">If you’re looking for the best spot on the internet to talk about cars, you’ve come to the right place!
