Need a dash pad for my '71 Buick Skylark 2dr. HT. Good to excellent condition; no cracks; any color. Thank you.

Have you tried Ebay? I have had good success locating interior parts there.

Thanks 68 Coronet RT. I scan Ebay frequently. The problem I have come up against is that the dash pads I have located to date have been no better, at best, than what I already have. Being an optimist: the search continues. Thanks again 68 Coronet RT.

I know that Just Dashes can restore anything and I believe they even fabricate dashes when necessary. They are pricey but their work is great.

The problem, 68 Coronet RT, is that my ride is a Buick Skylark. Although I would like the interior to look better while I enjoy its custom paint and chrome engine detail along with the HP my engine now produces, it is after all a Skylark. I'll occasionally win an award at a local car show but the Skylark is not the same class of car as a relatively rare COPO Chevy, Shelby Mustang or other high end automobile. Just Dashes wants $550.00 plus shipping to restore my dash pad. I cannot justify the cost - little return on investment here, I'm afraid. Being on a tight budget doesn't help either. So the searh continues.

I will try to keep a look out for you. In the meantime I found an article on restoring dashpads in classic cars. Not sure if it will help you but you might find it interesting.
