Hello everyone! My project is a 58 Buick that has been stored in a barn for some zillion years. The engine and trans have been reworked and runs out real good except for an undesirable whine in the rear end. Can these components be resurfaced or do they have to be replaced? Anybody point me to a firm that can help me with this gear issue?

The ring and pinion will need to be replaced and as long as your in there you should replace all the seals and bearings.
Setting up the rear end is a task that requires experienced professionals with the proper equipment.
